This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Gold Detector & Metal Detector, package name com.gold.detectormetaldetector (“the App”).
1. Overview
The App provides sensor-based detector features, camera-based object detection, informational content, and utility tools. This policy explains what information may be accessed, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
2. Device Sensors
Detector, compass, bubble level, sound meter, and similar features may access supported device sensors such as the magnetometer, accelerometer, orientation sensors, and microphone. Sensor readings are used to provide the requested feature. Unless a separate disclosure is shown in the App, these readings are processed on the device and are not used to identify you.
3. Camera and Microphone
Camera permission may be requested for camera magnifier, compass camera, or object detection features. Microphone permission may be requested for sound level measurement. Camera frames and audio levels are used only while the relevant feature is active. The App does not claim to record or upload camera images or microphone audio unless a user knowingly uses a save or share function.
4. Information You Provide
When you contact support, you may provide your email address and message content. This information is used only to reply to your request, troubleshoot issues, and improve the App.
5. Advertising
The App may display advertisements through third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob. 12. Important Detector Disclaimer
Mobile devices cannot guarantee discovery of real gold or buried metal. Results depend on the hardware sensors available in the device, calibration, environmental conditions, and nearby magnetic materials. The App is a utility and educational tool and is not a substitute for certified professional equipment.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The effective date shown at the top will be revised when an update is published.
